Overview
Whether it's a one-day seminar or a thirty-minute training video, Focal Point Productions can accommodate your needs. Our digital equipment and knowledge of the industry allows us to offer our clients the best services at competitive rate. Focal Point Productions produces sales & marketing presentations, training videos, television programs, commercials, PSAs, and special events. Our staff of scriptwriters, editors, producers, directors, camera operators, and on-camera talent is tailored to our clients needs. We customize each production to our clients needs. Videos can express so much more than print materials, speakers, seminars, or presentations. Add motivating music, attractive talent, video images, and a dynamic narration to your existing presentation in the form of a video. This stimulating video presentation will have a better chance of hitting home the first time with a well-produced video. If not, there is always the rewind button and have them play it again. We strive to exceed your expectations.
Videotape Duplication
Only a few video production companies offer video duplication. Focal Point is proud to be one of those companies. Whether you need five or five hundred copies, Focal Point Productions can accommodate your needs. All of our VCRS are connected to a central video and audio amplifier using gold S-VIDEO and Stereo cables to ensure the best quality connection and reproduction of your video.
Conceptualization and Scriptwriting
Focal Point Productions has an innovative staff of Directors, Producers, Editors, and Writers. This staff will work together to take your ideas and combine them with our capabilities to create a video we both will be proud of. The use of video has far-reaching applications - and brings immediate results. Videos are successfully used to motivate, educate, persuade, inform, and promote, and our staff knows how to best construct a video for your needs.
Pre-production and Production
After the script is written, talent is selected, locations are secured, and crew is gathered, the project moves into production. This phase can last anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. Each project can have so many variables, and these variables make your video individualized from any other. Focal Point Productions owns all of its own equipment. This makes it practical and easy for last minute shoots. It also ensures that only a select few talented individuals will use the gear, leading to a better finished-project.
Post-Production
The best editor in the world can only do so much with a regular analog linear editing system. But with an advanced digital non-linear editing system, that same editor has endless possibilities. The editor can create graphics, titles, transitions, edits, animation, and just about anything else with just the click of a mouse. And if they do not like it, they can just hit the "undo" button. This versatility allows Focal Point Productions' staff to push the creativity and imagination to the extreme, yet simple to change them if our customers are not satisfied. Our system is loaded with software to correct color, enhance audio, and add graphics.
Equipment
The high quality of our productions necessitates the most up-to-date, technological equipment. Our digital cameras and editors put us above the competition. This allows us to provide our customers with the best product available. Many production companies do not own their own equipment. Instead, they rent or lease gear from production houses. Because Focal Point Productions owns our equipment, it is not regulated by another company's schedule and policy. There is also less use and abuse on our equipment, leading to better customer service and a better finished product delivered in a timely fashion.
For more in depth information about our equipment, please e-mail us at info@focalpp.com
Pricing
The price of each project depends on three phases: pre-production, production, and post-production. Pre-production includes conceptualization, scriptwriting, and other planning. Production includes all field and studio shooting. Post-production includes editing, graphics, and duplication. Each project varies drastically in price and timeline.

These events are very happy, exciting, and special for not only the couple in love or the young adult, but also for their family and friends. These once in a lifetime occasions only last a few hours and then it is over. Still pictures only show a millisecond. Stories vary by the teller. Home videos are shaky and usually unwatchable. A professional video will capture the best of everything. It catches everything the family missed: family from out of town, the colors of the flower centerpieces, interviews with close friends, and all of the dancing and mingling. Focal Point’s videographers are always discrete but always manage to get the important shots. We do not bring a huge film crew with big lights, boom microphones, and tripods with dollies. We do not need it. Our gear is good enough so the only thing it needs is our specially trained operators. We listen to the families input so that we can produce what they are looking for. We offer several different packages, most include:
- An opening still picture montage set to one song of your choice.
- A closing highlight montage set to one song of your choice.
- DVD and VHS copies
- Digital editing and cameras.
- Table or individual interviews.
- 5 ½ hours of videography
We arrive at the service and/or reception thirty minutes early. This allows our crew to coordinate with your official, DJ, band, photographer, caterer, and others involved. We're not invisible - but we try to be. We do not use floodlights and will never place unwanted microphones in your guests' faces. Comments such as "we hardly noticed you" are common to us. Once the party begins, our videographers are unobtrusive while catching every important moment. Editing will be performed on a digital editing system featuring a multitude of effects and graphics. We're not a special event factory. We are video professionals, devoted to capturing the special moments of your day, and editing them to produce the perfect story. We limit the number of engagements we accept to insure every video is of the highest quality.

Other Social Events:
Family reunions, graduations, birthdays, concerts, anniversaries, and parties are just a few examples of other social occasions that Focal Point Productions can video tape. FPP will take great care in capturing all of the cherished moments on video.
Picture Montages:
These videos make for excellent gifts or presentations. The amount of pictures varies, but the effect is still the same: breathtaking. Your pictures are set to a song of your choice. This can be edited prior to the affair so that it can be used for the rehearsal dinner.
